RE: One more week Michigan

Almost there. It's too bad that I moved from the north down to detroit. I am going to miss going out the back door and walking 100 yards to my stand. Oh well, I will make the best of it. Good luck.

RE: Which is a better Deer Gun???

The 30-30 is a good beginning gun. It has low recoil and will kill a deer out to 100yards. If you want to shoot a little farther, use the .308. As for scopes, take a look at the Bushnell/Banner Dusk...

I have talked to Darton Archery about this issue, it would be wiser to get a new bow. The limbs can not just to swapped out. The pockets and all would have to be redone.

RE: Want to buld a treestand

RE: You Call The Shots V

That dog just don't wanna hunt. A .357 would not be enough power at that distance. I should know, I carry a .357 every gun season. I would have to pass.

RE: Why shoot 1 pin

I use one pin because my bow allows me to. My arrows hit the same spot out to 25 yards. If I want to shoot 30 I aim about 2-3 inches higher. If the deer is farther out...I don't shoot.
