I have shot 1 deer, 1 warthog and 1 Impala with a rage 2 blade.

The damage was outstanding.

All 3 pass throughs, large blood trails and easy recoveries.

Ya I shoot a Matthews Switchback LD @ 32" so its a bit short ATA. I have some 36" and 38" ATA bows and they do tend to have a better string angle but I shoot the Matthews better for some reason...

With what you describe it sounds like your arrow had a crack or weak spot. Maybe with the broadhead steering from the front fighting the vanes your arrow came apart as the arrow flexed from the drive...
