season over

well,it has been a long season and chasing the two amigos was tough.i had several chances to take the birds but it just was not to be easy.either,they would not gobble,the cows would chase them out...

my season is over and i am worn out

all these were taken from my groundblind[the first three].they are nothing special,but at 67 my feet get cold.lol

ground blind buck

well,he is no monster,but at 14 degrees this am when i got up,i almost did not go.with my little propane heater in my blind,i toughed it out and this guy came behind a doe and yearling at 11.53...

new blind location first buck

the cows tore up my blind on the pipeline,so i bought another and moved it into the next pasture.after 30 hours and seeing nothing,i finally got lucky.this buck is 3.5 years old at least.i have pics...

this old man has about walked himself to death the last month waiting to find the buck sign to get me excited to bow hunt.i only bow hunt when i can find good active sign and it is just now showing...

food sources getting ripe

our bow season begins oct 1st, so i have been doing alot of walking and looking hoping to find acorns and persimmons.i found both and even got up two deer bedding at a small pond close to a persimmon...
