Check out this nice buck that was killed this morning. His antler looks like it was yanked out of his skull. His eye is swollen shut and oozing. I am betting he was hit by a car and shot close after....

These deer are smart, I have a nice mature buck behind my house and a young wide, really wide deer. I hunt hard and can't get them to come in close, that is when I am lucky enough to even see them....

Yea, I can't figure out scoring him. I like the funky antlers, there is a bunch of mass on those horns..... The pics don't do him justice. Check out the links for some of the angles.

I may of hit some of the gut, the arrow hit hard and didn't passthru. I am taking a guess at how much penetration I got. I know the arrow was definately sticking out towards the rear of the deer...
