Trail Camera Selection Advice

I am getting ready to purchase my first trail camera. I am looking at the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Max or the Reconyx HC600.

Is the Reconyx worth the extra money?

I have cable in the St. Louis area and we have had VS for a few years. I am pretty sure it is the old OLN network, but maybe you are talking about VS HD - that is suppose to be airing very soon.

I think you had a clean miss and you just spooked the heck out of her. She would not cirlce back around and come back to a similar general area if she was shot, especially if it was a complete pass...

I agree with the 1" per 10 yards rule - that is pretty good. Although I push myself to be around 2" at 30 and not much more than that for 40, maybe 3 inches at most - actually 30 to 35 is my limit...
