I would choose the .270. It has been a great hard hitting cartridge for me in 130 grain. More people in WI also use the 30-06 but you can't go wrong with any of those.

I hold behind the front shoulder too for the same reasons. Bigger target = more forgiving. I shoot a .270 Winchester with 130 grain regular silvertip ammunition. I shot four Wisconsin deer this year...

I actually added a urinal to my permanent box stand this summer. I started with a u shaped3 or 4" pvc sewer cap that has a rubber gasket on it and kept adding pieces until it necked down to take 1"...

Thanks for all the help. :)I used the locater and found a dealer within driving distance. I plan on trying all the crossbow brands everyone talks about but the Acudraw seems to be the way to go...
