RE: what about browning 30-06 bar

All that being said, $500 still does sound a little on the higher end for a 30 year old gun. The new bar's have a different gas ejection system, and a lever that lets you close the magazine when you...

RE: what about browning 30-06 bar

I have hunted with a BAR for over 20 years, my father has hunted with a BAR for over 30 years. In all those years we have had it become a single shot only once, and that was really my fault. I had...

RE: BAR RIFLE WHAT CALIBAR

I have hunted with BAR's for over 20 years, my father has used them longer than that. He currently has a 308 and I have a 30-06. Both of them work great for deer, but as has been said previously...

RE: to loop or not to loop?

Loops can break, come untied, or slip, therefore to say there is no reason not to use a loop is incorrect. It is also more difficult for me to attach my release to in low light or stressfull...

RE: Elite vs Bowtech court ruling

And all of the responces over there are positive to Elite. Maybe I am reading something wrong, but they seem to be thinking its a good verdict for Elite.

RE: Elite vs Bowtech court ruling

Ummm TerryM I guess I am not reading things the same way you are. This is from Archery Talk. Kate Strother the president of Elite Archery posted it.

"The Court finds that the non competition...

RE: What should I do about my peep-site?

I tried going without a peep straightener, and I was never able to get it to come out exactly right. 2 trips to the bow shop and it still was coming out slightly off. I had them put my old peep back...

RE: string release

Mobowhunter, first of all I am in no way an expert. However, in practice, I don't understand you when you say that adding something roughly a 1/2" onto your string, and then clipping your release...

Do you use a string loop?

I was interested in finding out if most of you all used string loops or clipped your release directly onto your bow string. Thanks!

String loops

I was just wondering if most people used string loops or just clipped onto their bowstring. I guess the loop would cut down on wear on the bowstring, but doesn't it make it more difficult to...

RE: Which style of sight should I use?

Ok, a little more info. Deer and bear from a tree stand, turkey from a blind, and I am going to Africa, where I will be shooting mostly from a blind. I currently have a 3 pin in line sight, which is...

Which style of sight should I use?

Hi everyone, I have been reading through all of the different posts on specific bow sights, but I haven't seen much written on which styles people like and why. When I go to cabellas and check out...
