RE: FOB's

They will definitely not go through a deer. That's actually one of the nice features, though. When the arrow contacts the deer, the fob will fall off and mark the point of impact, making it easier to...

RE: Future equipment on my tomkat

I had the NoPeep on my TomKat, but replaced it with an Anchor Sight. I like it MUCH better.

RE: BOWTECH HOSTAGE REST&BLAZER VANES

I'm using a Hostage and blazers and not having any problems. I was worried about clearance at first, but it's not an issue. Maybe I'm using thinner shafts? I'm shooting Carbon Express Maxima 250s,...

RE: Lighted nocks/ends for bolts?

I don't use Tracers so I can find my game, I use them so I can find my arrows! Last year, I shot my buck just before dark on a rainy night in the deep woods and there is no way in heck I'd have found...

RE: MeanV STS

The MeanV CSS won't fit on a TomKat. You'll need to buy a front-mountable one from STS Archery. I have one on my TomKat.

RE: peep or no peep

Last year, I ditched my peep and used the No-Peep. This year, I've replaced that with the Anchor Sight, which I think is far superior.

RE: lumenok

I prefer the Tracers over Lumenoks. I was skeptical about the magnets working reliably, but I've never had one fail. I hate having to wiggle my Lumenoks loose to turn them off.

RE: Tracer nocks

I use Tracers and I LOVE them. It made a big difference on my Thanksgiving day hunt last year. I shot my deer 5 minutes before legal time ended deep in the woods on a rainy day. I never would have...

RE: Groung Blinds?

I've got a Double Bull Matrix, but if I ever decide to buy a new blind, I'd have to at least look at the ASAT Quickie. I've heard nothing but good reviews for it and it's half the price of the DB. I...

RE: Cocked in Bowblind ?

I'm always VERY mindful of that myself. I have a Double Bull Matrix 360 and I have plenty of room in there for my Excalibur, but I still sit in the back corner to give my limbs plenty of room to flex!

I had one put on my TomKat last week. Haven't had a chance to put many shots through it, but I was very pleased that it held the arrow as well as it did. That was my biggest concern. Hard to be...

RE: Hey Ya'll Congrat's Awshucks.

It's going to depend on how much the rest of your arrow weighs. If you shoot a heavy arrow, the Lumenok wouldn't have much effect on the FOC.

I assume they would be heavier than a regular nock, which would throw your arrow's balance off. I could be wrong, though.
