RE: Deer and ethics

I agree that death is seldom clean or pretty in nature. But then again, in nature, deer don't get hit by automobiles. I don't think Iwould interfere with an animal dying of natural causes, but when...

RE: Deer and ethics

That is a good question. Yes, it is a good idea to follow the law. But the law isn't always the bottom line in every sitiuation, and the law isn't always right. If a law was passed that was a clear...

RE: New way to yote Hunt

I don't think anyone has said that coyotes need to be protected... The point being made was that the coyote has a place in the ecosystem just as the deer, pheasants, quail and rabbits do. I agree...

RE: "Killing"

I guess it is extremely difficult to put suchdeep rooted, abstract emotional feelings that are elements of the hunt into concrete words. We don't really have the words to describe those feelings, and...

RE: Trying to figure out what shaft...

My longbow is pretty fast and it is center cut. I think I tend to overdraw to the 28.5" area then settle back down to about 27.5" - 27.75", but I prefer a 29" arrow when using broadheads. I figure I...

RE: Trad Bow for small game

Spine is the stiffness of the arrow. The spine must be right so that the arrow canflex around the riser when released. You don't want it too stiff, but it can't be too flexible either. But I am no...
