My horses are good about the sound of gunfire. My problem is when the pig decides to rush my horse and I am only left with a staight on head shot. I have seen too many 9mm bounce right off that damn...

I am looking for a compact handgun tohunt pigs and coyote while mounted on a horse. I am hunting with hounds so my shots are close-up (30yds. or less)
