RE: Starline Brass ?

I've used Starline brass in the .357 Sig, 10mm, .400 Cor-Bon, .45 ACP, .45 Colt and .454 Casull. It's top-of-the-line stuff.

I won't own another set of std Leupold mounts. I had a windage screw loosen up on my during a hunt, so I replaced every pair I owned. Between the two you listed, I would opt for the Weaver-style...

RE: help with building a custom gun.

Something you should know. You don't need a rifle chambered in these calibers, if you're only planning on using the action. To build a .22-250, all you need is a Rem 700 short action with the .308...

The SPS version is the new "budget" line for the 700's, and for all practical purposes has replaced the ADL's.

RE: Long time 700 owners

RE: .280 Ackley Improved

I've had great accuracy with several powder/load combinations with my .280AI. I've used IMR 4831, H4831, RL-22, and VV N165. I use IMR 4895 for my fire-form loads. They've all worked well.

This is where the 650 shines. Set it up and crank out ammo by the thousands. A single Saturday morning's production run can produce enough ammo to last me several months. The machine is amazing.
