If it's raining they'll be in the field by mid morning . That's when a blind comes in handy! Set it up on the field, use it after the first couple of hours.

I hunt field edges with the woods being "out-of bounds". Absolutley nowhere to hide. If I had big woods, I'd chuck the blind, it's a pain to carry in or out.

Just because you gun can pattern well out to 60yds doesn't mean you should. At that yardage lead won't have much "punch" left except in paper and even most non-lead alternatives are losing thier...
