Also took my first bird with a mouth call with that one. Very simple, two reeds, good one to learn with.

Thanks guys, Pennsylvania just put a mentor program in place. I now can take any kid under 12 for turkey and they do not need a license. The best thing this state has done!

9:00 a.m. Called up a group of 4 jakes. My son got his first bird, age 11 his second trip out. Very pleased, he made a great shot about 20 yds. I'm so proud I had to share it with the world!!

I agree. Certainly a decline in 2b where I hunt. I did take my biggest buck ever in 2005. Less deer, but seems to be better quality deer, at least in my area. this will be my sons first year hunting....

I have a banner on my son's 700bdl in 30-06. Works great, held zero perfect for two years. I was quite impressed especially since he isn't exactly easy on equipment at that early age.

Sold my A-bolt after I bought my first tikka t3. Accuracy is far superior out of the box compared to the a-bolt. Every gun and situation is different, great a-bolts and bad tikkas and vice-a-versa....
