I would say they are in a dryer type ground where moles are in the heavy moisture type. A mole colony will not have exposed holes to the tunnels, while the voles seem to have holes open like a gofer...

Tried it, tried poisen, the lil pecker deals you put in the ground that "emit" a sound to scare off the moles, when they are in the middle of a 60 acre hay field it aint gonna scare them that far....

Trust me, running a trap line of over 20 mole traps every other day over about 200 acres isnt fun, ESPECIALLY when you dont catch anything!!

Whoa, I could honestly care less if its legal or not, the amount of damage a mole leaves behind, the cost of replaceing parts on haying equipment (blades, rake teeth, etc) is not worth leaving them...
