If your gun has a seperate safety that is in good condition then I don't see any problem carrying it with the hammer cocked. Like said earlier, you should take the cap off when climbing up or down...

The Variflames will help but probably not completley get rid of it. It will still take a wet patch and a dry one (or two) behind it. It is alot easier to got off with them or the 25acp breach plug....

I have only fired 4 of the 25acp cases more than once. There was no noticable expansion and I don't think they ever will with only a primer in them. Midway has the brass for a little less than $11.00...

The slower bullet does ususlly shoot higher, as stated before. This really shows up with a big cal. hand gun because the barrel jumps more than with a rifle. The speed is quite a bit faster with 777.

If you shoot alot with max loads the Lead Sled sure does help the shoulder. If you don't usualy shoot heavy loads with heavy bullets then any, high quality,solid rest will work just fine.

Omega, unless you are only alowed to use conicals. As a rule, Omega's don't shoot conicals too well except possibly Power Belts, which I don't personaly care for.
