Everyone says if it is windy deer won't move because they either can't hear, smell or both? Is this true? If so, how high does the wind have to be blowing for you not to go hunting? 10mph? 20mph?

In the tri-state region (MD, NJ, DE), it is very competitive with hunters everywhere. You have to be able to keep deer on your farm or they will get shot next store. Sweet Potatoes work the best....

Can you recommend what is the best camera to place near the feeder and what options are important? Price initially is not a factor. Main priority is ease of retrieving pictures.

Baiting Warm Weather Deer

Members,

I hunt in MD and NJ where baiting is legal. I had great success in December as temp's got below freezing. We have had unseasonably warm weather in January and I have not seen any deer....
