I guess I should wax the string at some point, eh?

Oh come on, someone has to ask a dumb question every once in a while, right?:D

So, what parts of the string should a person wax? The entire thing? What about the cable? Looks like the same...

Thanks so much for the help, guys! :)

RE: Technique question - missing right & left

Thanks for the insight, guys. In my particular case, I think it may be a matter of technique instead of improper tuning or rest adjustment. I say this because at times my shots are very closely...

Technique question - missing right & left

As would be expected, the farther I am away from the target, the looser my groups get. At 50 yards I'm consistently hitting withing 2" up or down, but as much as 6" right or left. Is there a...

Thoughts of impending elk hunting season makes me lose sleep for weeks each fall. I can’t seem to dismiss the strategic thought processes that play over and over in my head. Am I remembering to...

I also have an Alpine quiver, and yes, the arrows are very secure in place with the two arrow grippers. Seems like a good idea to bury the blades in foam anyway to avoid "accidents" of various types...

RE: Wrist sling/strap

I've never used one but I sometimes wonder if I grab hold of my bow too soon after release and alter the arrow flight, so I'm thinking about getting one. Are they as inexpensive as they look to be?

I'm concerned about the possibility of that happening as well, which is why I am very careful about where my arrow is pointing at all times while drawing the bow back.

Yessir. Taken on public land in Wyoming. It is a 5X7 and netted just over 163 as I remember, and is 23" wide. In its prime, I'm guessing it was a wider and higher scoring buck.
