And that doesn't mean 'just' hunting that 100 yard strip, btw... I'll hunt the whole place AND the 100 yard strip...but that strip will help if the deer I wanna take down runs by it, it'll slow him...

The only arguement I can buy for this is disease (if it is fact) and taking away from neighboring hunters...

As for it being 'too easy' and for 'cheating', that would include many things besides...

No I haven't, and I can't tell you that anyone that I have ever known has... main reason being I hunt in the coastal part of Texas and letting it sit 2 hours would mean the meat would go bad...

That's my deal stubberjumper... shot my first deer last year, little 4-pointer... didn't see him kick or anything, he jumped the fence like he had no problem... went to look for blood a few minutes...

I spread about 35 pounds of corn over a 100 yard area this past weekend, not in some pileor anything... Only 9 of the 39 deer I saw that day were feeding over the corn, but heck, I may not have seen...

contrary to popular belief, a lot of Texas isn't flat, so not everywhere will offer you long shots...

I know people who use .243's/30.30's if they hunt on small chunksland or land that won't...

The first time I fired my .270 I didn't have earplugs on, went and got some that day, wore 'em deer-hunting... didn't take 'em dove hunting, noticed I loved the loud sound going along...

I'd cut the rack out and would drag the deer as far as possible off of the road...

It wouldn't be my trophy, but to me these racks are a beautiful display of what nature can do, and they're one...

Plus a lot of the folks with crops of corn around here use the deer-corn industry to profit from their crops... not a bad deal for them, I'd say...

Nah, it was the King Ranch in South Texas, low-fence, free-range...

My step-dad had it sent to him by a guy he knowswho actually knows people who know the manwho took this deer (so he says)......

Most people say if you find deer scat (poop), chances are that deer beds down within 100 yards from where you found the scat... I didn't know if it was true, but I started looking for scat and found...
