thanks for the replies. Sounds like the biggest saftey hazzard is the stand, and not the rifle!

Just bought a Remington Tree stand, and a saftey video game with it.

This is my first hunt, and first tree stand. However after viewing it, I'm almost afraid to get up in it!

My state WI has banned feeding. How do I lure deer to my stand? Is it just in the positioning?
