Its my understanding that MN has a rule against baiting, but I dont reallly know all that well because I've only been hunting this state for a year. I'm in a differant area, all the way up in Duluth....

I love my 30-30, and with regular ammo it can easily shoot to 100 yards. Witht he new leverolution ammo it will shoot out to 200+

Ditto on the sheep thing, I’ve raised them and when a lamb (baby sheep) was sick and or dying they would get really anxious to try and get them up. If you didn’t stop them they would start pawing...

I think it is perfectlly all right to use for fun but it is unethical and not fair chase to use as you scouting method. Deer hunting is about getting closer to nature and spending time in the woods...
