Great way to spend time with family and friends also fun to be so close to animals and for them to not have a clue that your there.

Even if it isn't marked it is still owned by someone no doubt. I would check around with neighbors around someone should know who's land it is. As for the stand it kind of depends on the land you get...

Looks like an 8 pt to me. I have seen this discussion in several forums I can't figure out what the deal is doesn't make much since. What would you call a 9 pt4x5? A 4 or a 5?:D

I also started out with a 243. I then moved up to something with a little more power a 270 and have never looked back. I believe it is one of the best for deer.

I have a McKenzie CarbonBlock and haven't had any problems with it. My brithers both tried bags I wouldn't use broadheads with bags layered is the way to go.

I have to agree I don't think that it makes any difference what so ever. If it did thenif you shoot helical fletching then you would need to shoot a broadhead with a helical. Right?

We have a free ranging elk that made it all the way into NW ok. There was also one that was shot around here last year and he got caught big big fines. It sure would be tempting though.
