i like the .22 better. .17 is fast but very light...

i like the .22 better. .17 is fast but very light and cross winds can throw you off fairly easy at extended ranges. plus with the .22 you can shoot 40gr ammo all the way up to the 60gr subsonic ammo....

most companies make descent barrels for what folks want and will use them for
i went wil E.R. Shaw
now bull barrels don't whip as much and are a little more consistant...

need a barrel wrench and probably taps

they are not that expensive and will last a lifetime and then some
and with todays rifled barrels and sabots you basically have a hard...

both come in 6" + and also barrels over 7"

given the weight and comp on the S&W, along with the really nice beefy, soft grip it wasn't that bad to shoot as far as painfully
