Do coyotes effect deer movement

We have the same problem here. 80 degrees winds at 20-35 mph all day,

It seems to me when the squirrels chirp deer at far away, Almost every time they chirp a deer or coyote walks close by. Maybe there protecting the territory from other animals aswell.
