No sign of him today. Hopefully he shows back up with soon. I have seen plenty of other bucks in the area that I would normally take a shot at, but it is tough after seeing this guy.

Well, this guy was broadside 15 yards away this morning. I was drawn back but didn't have a clear shot through the trees. Heart was covered by a 2" sappling. Very hard not to take a shot at him...

I have learned a lot from this experience. I can assure you all that I will never make this mistake again. The thing was that I had never really discussed this shot with experienced hunters before....
