the best way to do it is to start with hardly any scent on it and as you get closer to your stand apply more and more. this way the deer travel in your direction not the other way because it appears...

hey i hunt a property that has about a 10 acre size hay field and they just cut it but hunting season opens next week, will the deer still use it?

i only have two stands and one is on a trail and have seen a lot of deer there, but my other one is in afunnel. i haven't seen any deer there, but i know as the rut comes this spot should be good....

how can you climb down a tree if your climber fell to the ground and you were stuck on the tree with your harness? because most harness can hold you about 10 minutes then you pass out.

yeah if i were you i would set it up about 2-3 weeks before season and leave zipper open and everything to make deer used to it and it will have no smell to it. i am debating on wether or not toput...
