The bear hide wasn't properly degreased. They are tough to get completely clean. Masking sprays will help and the odor should fade but probably wont dissapear.

Yeah the commons are good sized up here. Buffalo too, but no Bigheads or Silvers. Our fledgeling club has been working hard to get night bowfishing allowed next year, at least on a trial basis.

Suckers and Carp are good smoked, if you look at the price of smoked fish in the meat case its worth a little effort to try it. Buffalo and Gar are pretty fair eating, not like Walleye and Crappie...
