Broadhead weight?

I was wondering how many grain broadheads you guys recomend? whether it is a heavey one or lighter one. right now i am shooting 100grains with about a 55lbs draw wieght and a 27 inch draw length. But...

Bowhunting pheasants?

I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried to arrow a rooster? I though i would give it a go tonight in my blind in a foodplot. I saw lots of roosters but unfortunatly i had made my shooting lanes...

with a whisker biskut the arrow contacts the rest the whole way so you have to have a good fallow through. to let the arrow go where you want it to go. i figure that they work better for when you are...

I have that same exact bow(not in use anymore) i did use it last year though and missed a giant with it, that was more then lilkely me though. I like the new bows a lot better though.

The deer here graze in the picked fields for alonger amount of time. We plant food plots of soybeans and corn, just a little acre. There deer wont touch the beans until the first snow, after that...

Help... Hoty's XTEC

Did Hoyt quit making there XTEC? I was just on their sight today and they didnt have it in their lineup. If they did get rid of it, why? i was really looking into getting that bow!

We have a big squiril problem in our deer hunting spots here, but i just havent brought myself to try to stick one yet. I guess i am just to afraid of lossing the arrow or breaking it.

50lbs is plenty to kill a deer... i could use a lot more but i choose to use about 55-60lbs just because it is a lot easier to hold steady and to hold longer.

I agree in some ways but it would be nearly inposible to tell whether or not it was killed over a supplement food plot. But that should not be counted towards the books if you had grown the big buck...

I Never have been able to touch a deer,... but my father who was a big fox hunter has been able to sneak up on a fox and grab its tail. The closest i have ever been to a deer is probably 3-5yards.

The deer have to get used to it for a while unless its in a place where they wont notice it. also i recomend shoot through mesh on a blind, it doesnt affect the arrow at all and the deer wont even...
