Anyone hunt on public game lands in or around Brunswick Co. N.C.?
Hows the deer and turkey hunting? I would be staying at Holden Beach

Mostly in NC or SC, I know Va has only draw hunts on the eastern part WMA's and WVa is for residents only. We own land in Wva but we are not residents and our land is not in the hog area.

i like a .410 with #6 shot, you get some pellets in the body but not enough to hurt anything, just pick them out as you clean em.

Here on the west side of the state it is not that popular so it is pretty easy to find good hunting. I hunt a couple lakes and the James and New rivers are awsome hunting.

If you wait too long to get them out in the woods hunting they won't want to go. Mine started small game at 6 and he went on his first deer hunt this year a 9 under my very close supervision.
