Was the stand on public land? I have a buddy of mine who had a stand on public land here in Wisconsin and he left if up throughout the season. One afternoon he walked in to find the stand missing....

I would also say that shed hunting is not nearly the same as hunting but it still can be a good experience.

A few years back during the bow season I had a really nice whitetail walk withinn 20...

The next 10 days are the peak. Almost everyone who I know was out this weekendthat saw does said they had bucks in tow. The 3-7 of Nov. have been the best for us the last five+ years.
