RE: accuracy vs inexpensive ammo

I just figured I'd put my 2 cents in here as well. Sometimes more expensive ammo will shoot more accurately-sometimes not. It's not worth the price anymore to shoot premium factory ammo IMO. I have a...

RE: Remington Genesis......Talk to me people

The genesis isn't a great gun but for the money it's one of the best. Mine was $110 after rebate, and I got free shipping. There's nothing to complain about as far as accuracy. There are a few things...

RE: Is a 50caliber Muzzleloader better then a 45caliber?

50s best, especially for a starter IMO. More available and wider varieties of supplies. I wouldn't mind a nice 45 to play with small caliber bullets and long range shooting though. Maybe I'll look...

That'll be a good deal...the shockwaves are getting too expensive and they're the same as the SSTmls. Good thing my MLs love cheap shots for practice, though :D

RE: core-lokt OR interbond for 30-06

Hornady is a great brand and most guns seem to shoot them well. They are great on game, but so is the core-lokt. I don't think you will be disappointed if you start using them.

RE: 243, 25-06, 260

They're all in the same general range. All are known for their accuracy, and are relatively similar, ballistically speaking. You can't go wrong, but my vote is 25-06.

RE: 25-06 ammo?

You just about can't go wrong on deer with the 25-06 with a 100-120gr bullet. You should get perfect performance from the Hornadys. Those will make a good bullet at long distances as well.
