venison backstrap here at my house its been tradition for years. i cut it in half and cook it on the grill medium rare of coarse and the other half i cut into bit size pieces rap them in apple cider...

what i do is quarter up the deer and hang it in a spare refridgeraterthat i have set up for it hung one this year it was 72 degrees outside hungit for about 5-6 days works perfect

hey eastern sorry to here had the same thing happen on my biggest buck ever last year saw the arrow hit heard it watched him break it off only about 4 inches of penetration i found 2 drops of blood...

if you now where the crash keeps coming from try to shift your stand down to where it is coming from I think it could definatly be a buck but like tx said also could be anything else if you find out...

thanks for the advice jm im the only hunter in until gun season i shot a monster here last year it hit a limb and deflected and hit him in the front of the shoulder and i know hes back in the area...

hey ny its been a few years now since i used a ladder stand but i used to bring an extra set of ratchet straps and i would ratchet the ladder to the tree as best as i could and it helped to keep it...

hey dj im not positive what the zone is but if u go on dep ct on your search engine it will get u there im pretty sure if you are on your own property u can get a land owner permit as long as u have...
