Fur prices

I heard a rumor that coon hides might be up to as much as $20-$30 this fall. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything?

I got mine Easter morning. 22lbs, 9 3/4inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs. It was a long season, way to hot for the birds. They just shut down when the sun started beatin down in the morning.

We were out running the dogs in June. The dog treed so we walked in a ways and then the dog shut up. We walked a little more and stopped and heard a big rustling in the tree above us. Here the dog...

First: you dont need to shoot 3 1/2" to kill a turkey. I use 2 3/4" in my 12 guage. #6 cause it has more pellets. If you can get set up right and call them in they should be within 30 yards

well then it would be perfect. sorry, the ones i had looked at you had to break the barrel to get to the selector switch. how much does a new red label go for.

that would only work if you had double triggers. cause i believe to get to the barrel selector on most single trigger guns (if they have one) you have to break it open. which...

where i hunt its not uncommon to shoot more than 5 shots a day. We do a lot of drives and the shooting is fast. I dont see many deer standing still. i haven't quite mastered the skill of hitting them...

smoothbore or rifled barrel

I want to get a slug barrel for my winchester 1300.I cant afford to shoot sabots, so rifled or smoothbore. i hear rifled barrels lead up pretty quick and lose accurary.

walkers will run coon and coyotes. we have one this year that decided he likes to run possums better than coons. we are trying to get that broke out of him.

Yeah, we hunt coon with walkers up here in wisconsin. I wouldn't say that we have high quality dogs though. Most of them were free, but we do alright. Got 8 coon one night.

its interchangable. I've shot slugs through both my remington 870 and winchester 1300 using improved cylinders no problem.

Oneida bows

Does anyone know anything about Oneida bows? Have you every shot one and if so what did u think? i am looking to get started bowhunting and i have a friend who has a used one he wants to sell me.
