deer decoys can be used in all phases of the rut..during the pre rut..it can give deer confidence and just bring them in closer or make them curious..during the rut it can be a challenging decoy that...

yeah i normally dont gut a deer anymore unless its really hot..like during bow season in the south..the only thing you get from gutting them is the two smaller inner tenderloins..witch isnt a lot but...

squirells tend to get on my nerves when im deer hunting..crawlin around your stand and runnin about the woods makin you sometimes think a deer is runnin up on you..and they even give your position...

i own one but dont use it much anymore since i found the H.S. Truetalker..u can make all the vocalizations of the deer with this call..and ive had great experiences with it
