Maybe I'm partial because I'm broke, but a GREAT value on the warmest boots I've ever had are US millitary "mickey mouse boots" or "bunny boots". They are made by Bata, and can be had for 30-40 bux...

I just read that it takes approx. 4 oz. of blood loss for a deer to become unconsious(idk how to spell that word). That looks like ALOT of blood on the ground, but it sounds promising. Good luck...
