AE The 28 was what i was going to sujust. But looking at some shells today there realy wasent that much differince. I saw 410 3 in with 1/2 and 3/4 oz of #4 shot and the 28 carryed the same oz charge...

The UT is the one i am using now. I am using #5 win HV 3 in mag loads. and i am having very good results on the patter papre with it. at 40 yds i am geting 22 killing hits.

It sounds like you are asking.

18 lbs 7.3 oz. there for 18 lbs and 7 oz is what you would put in the boxes. if the .5 or larger it would be 18 lbs and 8 oz.

Which do you perfer. a shell loaded with more shot and slower.

I have read that you gain about 7 fps per in up to about 38in.
