Depends where you go. My .25 acre lot in my subdivision was about $40k. I bought 4.3 acres across the river about 10 miles away for about $41k. Prime commercial is MUCH more expensive.

I usually head back in the middle of the day fora big lunch, especially during gun season. I still keep a snack and water with me. Usually 2 chocolate chip Clif bars, sunflower seeds, and water.
