If you use climbing sticks,you need a straight tree!They come in 4 ft lengths and hook into each other.You would be surprised how many trees you think are straight until you try the tree sticks.

The loop on the safety vest is what I hook to when I'm in my tree stand.It's designed to hold your weight in case of a fall.
