not a lot of land is privately owned up here compared to the public land available, I put my backpack on, start hiking and in one day I am in areas that I never see another hunter.

If you are after a trophy goat look for outfitters around the smithers/terrace bc area, there are plenty of goats in the area, tough hunting but if you are in shape it should be no problem.

I have backpack hunted for the past fifteen years, we never take filters, pills or boil our water, we have drank from lakes, ponds and streams and never been sick, filters, pills and boiling do help...
