RE: Broadhead Questions from a Novice

Nice setup!! At least you are starting out with some seriously quality gear. I have had "decent" success with the Jackhammers and deer, but with all the awesome short fixed blade heads, I wouldn't...

RE: spray cresting results

I tried another brand since I couldn't get my hands on Rustoleum and it seemed to do fine. I will say this, the AAE Fastset gel glue I always use reacted to the paint. You can't see it, but I pushed...

RE: Bisquit ?

Have you done a side by side comparison of the QAD and the Ripcord rests? I have two of the Ripcords, but have not held a QAD. I was just wondering how the two compared as I am getting some awesome...

Yep, the new jigs have smaller flat bars that a prety hard to move unless you know it moves. That was my first impression of your post. You should be on your way to a fine looking set of arrows now!...

RE: parker, uggh!

In sales. Not overall market share, but the number of bows sold. I'm not saying that they are the best company, or that they make perfect bows, but I am saying that from what I know of these guys...

RE: parker, uggh!

I do no have any first hand experience with a Parker bow, so I will stay out of the "mine's better'n yours" argument. But what I do know is the President of the Company, and more so his right hand...

RE: whisker biscuit boys

I tried that rest this year myself, but I had a hard time loading the thing due to the fact I keep my peep low on the string which moves my sight waaaaaaay low. I kept hitting the pin guard before I...

RE: need some help with blitzenburg fletcher

Take the metal bar off the two magnets if you havn't done that. Now put your fletching into the clamp and place the clamp onto the magnets. Your shaft should be in the jig prior to all this of...

Nope, not the blood, although it does let you nkow if yougot any on the shaft real quick. It is to better track or see the arrow in flight. Plus it looks really cool.......;)

RE: Broadhead Help!

Hey Bees, I am cursed with a 27.5" draw length so my arrows are right about the same. I am not against mechanicals, but for larger game at longer distances out West, I much prefer the fixed blade...

RE: spray cresting results

Well, I've watched the clip. I must say that is pretty cool. I will be picking up the paint tomorrow, and fletching a dozen of my shafts up with just plain white cresting. I sure hope this works, it...

RE: Broadhead Help!

I'm with ya 100% on this one BigBulls. You did leave out Rocket Aeroheads Ulitmate Steelhead though! I shot a number of mechanicals over the past 6-8 years. I tried a pile of them and on whitetails...

RE: Stupid question about dominant eye

Try this test instead. Take a sheet of paper and cut a hole in the middle of it about the size of a nickel. Hold the paper out at arms length and focus on an object like a clock on a wall. Close one...

RE: bow sight pin size

My personal prefence for the past 6+ years has been .019 pins. Still plenty bright, but cover less of your target. The .029 seem too bright and too "noisy" for me personally. The .019's seem more...

RE: Motorola T-5950 Talkabout Radios

The GMRS bands are much stronger (in wattage) and carry much further than the family bands. The FCC just has to regulate the higher strength bands thus the fee. I have some of the older Talkabout...

I noticed that the two that I shot through the grass sort of ended up a bit wavey. I didn't like that since I normally shoot Flex Fletch and they return to normal no matter what I do to them. I have...

RE: Which rangefinder are you using??
