i use to have a model 10f in 308, it shot great, the bolt needed some break in, it was real hard unlocking sometimes. but was accurate as i expected, and for lack of use i sold it. very fun gun

my model 500 has handled slugs without fail. the manuel states slugs are alright and i believe even recommends a modified choke to pattern. i would have to think it was a abnormality with ammo or gun...

saw 2 does on state land (carlton hill) couldnt shoot at them (didnt have doe tag)

i have used CLP for years, its all we used while i was in the Marines.
it worked for everything and its used for CLEANING LUBRICATING and PROTECTING, ive seen it work miracles on some pretty nasty...
