RE: Advice Please

You could buy him a 12 ga. and let him shoot 2 3/4" shells until he can handle the heavier loads. With the extra weight of a 12 ga, a 2 3/4" shell will have nearly the same recoil as a 20 in 3".

RE: nitro ammo and moss 835 ?

Holy moses where did you pay $90 for a Pure Gold. They are only about $60 here. The problem you have is the super short barrel, I have noticed thatthe Mossbergswith a barrel shorter than 24" suffers...

RE: Flite Control Wads and Ported Chokes

I think the wad is so heavy it is not stripped by the ported chokes. I do think the ported chokes shoot far better with other loads so it may not be a total waste of money if you ever shoot other...

RE: nitro ammo and moss 835 ?

RE: Talkin Turkey

Yeah, I don't say any particular word either. The best way to learn how to make the proper noises is to listen to someone that can use a mouth call pretty well. Then get them to take the call out of...

RE: choke?

I have shot several different chokos in my 835 and 935 and the best I found was a Pure Gold. Best things about their chokes is if you are not pleased with the patterns after you shoot it, send it...

RE: What do readers think about Moss. 835 or 935 shotguns?

I have both a 835 and a 935. I hunted with the 835 for years and just got the 935. It shoots good and patterns the same as the 835 just alot less recoil. The turkey/waterfoul combo you mentioned...

I used to shoot the gold ips but switched to the CX terminator hunter selects for better penetration, less noise, and more durability. This is the toughest shaft I have ever used.

RE: 10 ga vs. 12 ga.
