Now I have to inspect it closer when I get a turkey this year. I'm not sure if it is the crop or if it surrounds the crop. PS. I heard my future dead tom gobbling at 0630 this morning. I can't wait...

Just curious if any body knew why the turkey has an air sac? I was just reading JW's post on How I clean turkeys or other big birds (great post by the way I do mine the same way )and saw the air sac...

hatchet jack, NY has a weekend youth hunt in April also. My oldest son is to old but now my daughter will give it a go this year. And yes this is the only thing NY has done for the youth. Good luck...

In my opinion go with the lone wolf, it is super quiet, easy to use and very sturdy. The price is a little high but you said you will only use one stand. Remember you get what you pay for!

270 Mag. Overkill?

I have justed started to hunt coyote this year. I don't have a varmint rifle but have a 270 Mag, 30-30. 22 cal, 300 short Magand a 308. Do you agree the 270 Mag would be the best out of these rifles....
