fran. I think the idea behind a draw in most areas is to allow for a controlled number of animals to be harvested. There is a population large enough to allow for some hunting but not enough animals...

For me baiting on public land. No guide, it's alot of work collected bait, built stands, hauled in barrels and the stands, baited two different weekends before hunting (it's a 600km trip one way)...

When look for scat, I like to see scat that is as big around as a pop can. (slightly larger than 2" in dia.). That scat you see is probably from an average to decent sized bear.
