I have one and it works good for me in the right situations. I dont use it as a locator just to try tobring one thats hung up in as a last effortand only gobble once or twice.

I would use #6 because you get alot more bb's and you are still getting as good volectyas lead #4. I killed one at a little better than 30yrds with my 20ga and # 6 hevi and it didnt even flop once.

NY turkey season

How was the season for you? Personaly, it was pretty good but eveytimethat I heard gobblesI was also hearing hens and saw many hens on their own. Also,I hunted the last four days of the season...

I would have probily taken the shot also. I have a browning and it was pattering with 7-10 pellets just in vitals at 60yrds and about another 10 in the head. I also use a scope. I wouldnt take 60yrds...

You could try cutting really hard to get the hens pissed and hope they drag the gobbler in with them. Another idea is to try to knock the hens off the roots if you know where they are, but you take...

If you have geese in the area that could work. With the locator calls you are trying to shock the turkey into gobbling and i have heard them gobble to roosters even before and heard of them gobbling...

I like the woodwise loud clear sound and pretty cheep. I have tryed three and that was by far the best. I took the bell out of the bottom and cuped the bottom with my hands. (i think it sounds better)

I have a 870 youth 20ga and with Hevi-Shot and an undertaker choke tube it is a great turkey gun with light recoil and is really light and manuverable. I also think that remington is of better...
