60lb to start is alot. Take look at 40 to 45 lb to start.70lb with 65% let off is only 24.5 lb . Learn how to shoot first then work your way up.Take a look at used bows, With a used bow you can start...

I leave the bow I shoot everyday strung and the restI unstring. Most of the damage to bow happens in the stringing and un-stringing of a bow..[:o]

Try setting down in a chair hold your bow the way you will be shooting it get someone to measurehow high the bow is then add 6'' to a foot this is how high to build it. It works for me
