Terry, since I think I've finally got it figured out, let me take a stab at it. The equalizer is rated at 26.5" draw and 60# draw weight, but the arrow weight is reduced to 300 grains since the bow...

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up for me Matt. As good as the Equalizer looks to a short draw like me, I think I'm gonna stick to my original plan and go with the new Allegiance. 26" draw at about 290...

Just a question, is the IBO speed on the Equalizer based on 60# at 26.5" and a 350 grain arrow? I would presume that it would be, but wasn't sure.

Early season or late season?

Just wondering what you guys and gals preferred. Me I've always seemed to have more luck early on in the season, but I've talked to plenty of hunters that swear late in the year is better for them....

Just a guess, but I would say the arrow hit some pretty heavy bone and never reached/missed the vitals. How did he feel about the shot? Did he think it felt like a well placed shot??
