RE: 243 vs 460 wby mag

You "defenders of the faith" on the 243 crack me up. Without giving credit for any of you being mentally irregular, I have to assume you just like to stir up manure. To compare the 243 to a true Big...

RE: Is savage a good gun??????????

Savage is the king of out of the box accuracy, their triggers are phenomenal, the only dept. they lack in is aesthetics. A great rifle.

Just from personal experience, the clamp on bipods will do way more damage than drilling a hole for it. The Stoney Pt sticks are a great tool.

RE: 243 vs 460 wby mag

DannyD,
You must understand that last week we had a guy comparing his 243 to a 257 Bob and a 25-06 and everything in between. His argument was that velocity meant everything. I assumed you were...

RE: Remington 721 vs 700 What are the major Differences?

OEH,
I would assume not. The main gripe about the 721 was an extremely ungainly and cheap stamped trigger guard. The main focus of the work was better wood and a much nicer looking...

OEH,
Looks to me like that's a Remington propaganda article. If I remember correctly the major differences were the trigger, 2inches of barrel, and aesthetic changes to the stock and trigger guard....
