I would say "yes", as I now own 3 sakos, one of which is a ss/syn in 7 mag. Compared to the others, it has all the features I like. I've looked at them all. If you just can't come up with the money...

I say go with the tikka. Lighter, very smooth, low lift bolt, detachable mag, sako barrel, and very accurate. I in fact just got in from shooting my ss/syn t-3 .270. I've bought 3 of these guns.

Yes thats a good price, I just paid $579 for a 270 ss/syn, the 4th tikka I've bought in 2 years.Most places I've seen retail around $629

real world advantages 300wm vs 7 rmag

When comparing the ballistics, it seems once you get out past 100 yds or so the advantage the 300 win mag has over the rem 7 mag drops off quite a bit, so is the extra recoil of the 300 wm worth it?...

Tikka, better trigger, detachable mag, lighter, the action is way smoother than savage and the tikka has a lower bolt lift, free rings and is better in fit and finish.

I would get the lecia for sure. Get the best so you are confident in it otherwise why even have it? swfa has the 900 scan for less than $400 I think. It is a great tool.

I have the same gun as well as two other t-3's, they have all been great shooters. Just try some different loads and shoot often. Have a solid rest, and the gun should do the job for you.
