We are headed north from PA. First day of hunt is Nov. 17. The caribou seem to be much farther north on the maps. How accurate are they. Only a few females are tracked out of 500,000 caribou??

Hoping you all can help me out. We are going to Northern Caribou Adventures hunt Nov.16-19. Will this be too early? Also, I was planning on taking 30-06 and my bow. Also maybe a shotgun to hunt...

I would like to book a hunt for Caribou Winter '05. We are looking at Nov. 17-21. Is this too dangerous time to go? Is there a way to to track the heard ourselves and not to rely on an outfitter...
