Perhaps you can tell me what a timber company has anything to do with this, they could give a damn what day you hunt. I'm talking about private landowners like me, or farmers etc.

Kurt shot that bull on Tuesday in Connor, it was my wife's permit. I hunted in the Caucomgomoc Lake area last year, a bull and a cow.

No! This has been studied on deer farms with all deer living under the same conditions, they still lose their antlers between Dec and April.
Even the same deer will shed in Jan. one year and March...

Same old story, do what every other state does. If we did that we would be hunting on leases,hunting out of a friggin' tree like an owl because our lease is 4 acres. Or we could go kiss some farmers...

I've shot moose every year since '94 and have never lugged one, don't care to.
There are so many logging roads that are no longer used and trails that a 4-wheeler will go on that you can still...

It was a PUBLIC hearing at the state house in Augusta. The 4 organizations I named stood up and spoke against it.

Now we have one from Mass. and one from Vermont telling the Maine landowners...
